Our Pilates Reformer Studio provides our clients with exceptional care and focus using the STOTT PILATES® method. This small group setting will allow qualified instructors to prioritize technique and proper alignment to ensure a safe and effective work out.

STOTT PILATES is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Co-founders Moira and Lindsay G. Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent over two decades refining the STOTT PILATES method of exercise and equipment. This resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and effective methods available. This clear and detailed approach forms the basis for STOTT PILATES training and certification programs. It’s used by rehab and prenatal clients, athletes, celebrities and everyone in between.
STOTT Pilates verses other Pilates Methods
Unlike the original series of exercises, STOTT PILATES incorporates modern exercise principles, including contemporary thinking about spinal rehabilitation and performance enhancement. For example, unlike the original approach, which promotes a flat back, STOTT PILATES exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. They also place more emphasis on scapular stabilization. As well, there are more preparatory exercises and modifications to make the method safer and more effective.
Benefits of Pilates training: develop long, lean, streamlined muscles, whole-body toning, restore postural alignment, improve flexibility and strength of core muscles -including those related to the spine, relief from joint pain or stress, prevention or recovery from bodily injury, improvement of coordination, circulation, stamina, agility and mobility.

Foundation Reformer (Level 1): Ideal for beginners, this class covers Pilates fundamentals — breathwork, alignment, core connection, and imprinting — at a slower pace with detailed instruction. The focus is on building proper technique, posture, stability, and body awareness to carry into all future classes.
Essential Flow Reformer (Level 2): A balanced full-body workout building on foundational skills with more flowing sequences, light balance challenges, and simple unilateral work. Suitable for clients comfortable with foundational reformer exercises who are ready to refine alignment, strength, and mobility.
Dynamic Reformer (Level 3): A stronger, faster-paced class for experienced clients featuring increased coordination, unilateral work, balance training, and longer endurance sets. May incorporate the jumpboard, chair, or specialty formats depending on the instructor.
Signature Strength (Level 3-4): A strength-based class blending traditional Pilates with functional fitness training. Expect athletic sequencing and dynamic movement focused on strength, endurance, stability, and mobility.
Athletic Reformer (Level 4): A high-energy, athletic class using the reformer, jumpboard, chair, and other apparatus for full-body training. Expect cardio intervals, dynamic sequencing, and higher-level movement challenges for clients with a strong Pilates foundation.
