Aerial yoga is a low-medium impact form of exercise, where you will be suspended from the ceiling or a freestanding aerial frame (rigging) in a large hammock or swing. Using this apparatus, you’ll perform inversions and poses using the swing as your support.
Aerial hoop, also known as lyra, is a metal apparatus resembling a hula hoop that is suspended from the ceiling and used to perform aerial acrobatics. Aerial hoop classes allow practitioners to float and create beautiful shapes in their aerial hoop, while building strength, flexibility and confidence.

AERIAL PILATES & CONDITIONING – This hammock class fuses the principles of stability and mobility in a variety of poses, working on combinations of movement that allow you to ‘dance’ in the air. Using techniques from yoga, pilates, and calisthenics , you will learn to balance, use your core and get a full body workout whilst staying close to the ground and having fun! Suitable for all levels.
AERIAL YOGA ENERGY – This is a dynamic class adding some strength workouts with the fabrics to gve a blend on yin and Yang. Open to any level, but there will be some challenges based on your experience.
AERIAL YOGA FLOW – This class is designed for all levels with an advancement after the intro class. The sequence will begin on the ground and will gradually and gently introduce you to aerial and inverted poses. It is suggested to begin with 1-4 intro classes before taking this class to feel the most comfortable.
AERIAL YOGA INTRO – low hammock for all levels. This class is designed to introduce you to aerial yoga, with full accessibility to all poses offered. Aerial Yoga uses a silk hammock to provide support and balance.
AERIAL YOGA MOBILITY – this class is designed for all levels. It is focused on using the silk as a tool for stretching and increasing range of motion. Excellent supplement to fitness training, and will improve overall balance and stability. Safe for all ages and backgrounds
LYRA INRO – All levels. Lyra introductory class focused on grip strength, conditioning and getting familiar with the hoop. Please take this class before coming to the regular class on Thursdays.
YIN IN THE HAMMOCK – Enjoy the restful music as you practice breathing and movement in this all levels class. Allow the hammock to support you in static /holding poses that increase mobility and range of motion. The hammocks are close to the ground and poses are done in and out of the hammock. Emphasizing Yin yoga, the asanas or postures are safe and easy on the body. Poses are held for a few breaths in order to get the maximum time needed to open the body, one pose at a time. Every body can do this class.
